Let Us Begin
Hello! It’s the New Year 2026, and it is a new beginning for the studio. We started in 2021, and much has changed since then. So, please allow me to reintroduce Noonlight Studio in NYC.
Noonlight is a New York City based boutique media and filmmaking studio. We have a core team of producers and a rotating team of collaborators, affiliate studios, and creatives. We work with long term clients, project to project based crews, and provide opportunities for new creators to attend events such as award ceremonies and prestigious fashion events.
The studio is directed by Vero Perez, a US Veteran and Mexican American woman with degrees in STEM and international awards in art. Her background brings both technical discipline and creative authority to the studio’s work. Alongside her is Rob Peregil, a Guam native and equity producer at the studio, who serves as the main point of contact for new creatives and potential projects.
The studio works across all media. We produce photoshoots from start to finish, develop film projects that highlight distinct perspectives, and work with new and emerging creatives across multiple industry spaces. The studio is based in NYC, but we have produced and premiered work in multiple cities and countries. Our work has been featured in both online and print publications, with premieres in the USA and the UK. Vero has been featured in publications such as the Daily Mail and the BBC, and has been interviewed for ITVx. We are continuously growing our team, not only with creatives but also with movers and shakers across the industry.
There is always something going on. Every February and September, the studio takes part in NYFW in some capacity. In the past, we have worked alongside multiple production houses in NYC, operating in the pit and backstage at various venues. Our lenses have captured designers and artists such as Naheem Khan, Blessed By Bless, Timothy Westbrook Bridal, Kim Shui, and others. Noonlight has also produced major editorial photoshoots where designers, models, producers, stylists, photographers, videographers, and assistants come together to deliver high end professional work under the direction of the producer. Looking ahead, we plan to collaborate with the fashion department of a central NYC university to create opportunities for emerging designers who are prepared to enter the professional fashion world. With their training and discipline, the studio can help accelerate their journey. We also have major plans to become boutique runway producers ourselves, but these are in our 5-10 year plans.
What is in the five year plan? We have several major studio projects launching, continued work around NYFW and smaller productions, and a clear shift in the type of business we are building. First, we are laying the foundation for our next Noonlight film production, Unconventional Veterans. This project was first pitched in 2022, but was placed on hold while we realigned the studio’s mission. With that work now done, we are opening space to welcome veterans and their families into this production, either as powerful and unconventional subjects or as essential crew members, supporters, investors, and consultants.
As always, we participate in fashion week twice a year and typically begin planning thirty to sixty days ahead of execution. During these cycles, we intentionally bring one or two emerging producers into runway shows or editorial shoots so they can gain real experience and build strong portfolios and websites. Throughout the year, the studio also produces smaller scale crews and conceptual photoshoots, creating space for ambitious creative directors and producers to fully engage with their ideas. This work is driven by creative control, paired with guidance and support.
Lastly, Noonlight plans to transition into a 501c3 nonprofit. This is a major step for the studio and reflects our commitment to education, access, and long term impact. We are currently developing our mission, bylaws, and working schedules with our board to fine tune all details as we move forward. Yay!
So, now that all is said and with HUGE things happening in 2026, we invite you all to stick around! Ask the studio anything via IG or email. noonlightstudio@gmail.com
